Are You Good Enough?

good-enough

I have known this feeling of not being good enough for my entire life now. It has probably been there for centuries.

And I do not know one person who cannot relate to this feeling.

As children we tend to burden ourselves with too much responsibility. When something is wrong, either with us or with our family, our number one conclusion is:

We are not good enough!

No matter if parents are drug addicts, alcoholics, medicine addicts, food addicts or mentally, emotionally or physically abusive, children always think it is their fault. If they were better, everything would be different.

On a purely intelligent level we all know that this is B.S. (no no, not what you think: belief system :) )

But as children we learn also that we can earn being good enough, if we are a good girl or a good boy, especially when we are doing what others expect us to do.

As teenagers we normally start to oppose in order to find our own way of being, because we realize that no matter what we do,

We will never be able to measure up to the expectations of the people in our lives.

We rebel against the fact that we are not good enough and repress the feeling.

But here and then, mostly when it is unexpected, or when we feel vulnerable, it tends to turn the corner to hit us again and again, like a little monster.

And this is exactly what happened to me the other day. Will it ever leave? I asked myself while I started to get really bored by the ‘I am not good enough’.

By contemplating I discovered a very interesting and easy process that I want to share with you.

So I invite you to gather in your imagination all the important people of your life in one room.

In order to reprogram your energy system I invite you to tap on your meridian points (and this is crucial in the process!) while you turn to your

  • Mother and tell her: I am good enough!
  • Father and tell him: I am good enough!
  • Stepmother or stepfather and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Sisters and brothers and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Grandparents and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Children and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Grandchildren and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Other family members, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc. and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Mother-in-law and tell her: I am good enough!
  • Father-in-law and tell him: I am good enough!
  • Childhood friends and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Doctor and nurses and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Priest and religious leaders and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Teachers from kindergarten to high school and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Colleagues from school and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Student colleagues and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Work colleagues and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Bosses and tell them: I am good enough!
  • Friends and tell them: I am good enough!
  • All invisible friends, family members, angels, unborn children and tell them: I am good enough!
  • God and tell her: I am good enough!
  • And all the other people I might have forgotten to list and tell them: I am good enough!

Now you will find that some of them might react weirdly. Keep tapping and keep telling them until they nod and agree with you that you are good enough or until they have disappeared!

I invite you to call: +32-478 310 684 to fix an appointment, if you would like some extra support on this subject.

What would change in your life if you finally felt good enough?
